African Women in Agricultural Research and Development - The African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) program offers specially tailored 2-year career development fellowships availabl at the post-bachelors, post-masters and post-PhD levels. Women from qualifying countries (Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia) and conducting research in the following disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply: crop sciences, horticulture, soil sciences, animal and livestock science, plant and animal virology, agroforestry, agricultural economics, aquatic resources and fisheries, food sciences Deadline: July 18, 2008

Borlaug Leadership Enhancement in Agriculture Program helps to enhance the mentoring experience of a graduate student by generating a productive environment to produce their thesis.
